Resonance Works, Pittsburgh's groundbreaking performance ensemble, "combines mediums of the arts world to create nuanced productions." They are featuring Robert Frankenberry's "suave, technically assured" arrangement for flute (Josephine Kost), bassoon (Renee Dee), and piano (Robert Frankenberry) of a suite of short pieces by Daron Hagen based on art songs originally composed for voice and piano entitled Tryst on a concert that also features works by Claude Bolling and Hector Villa-Lobos, among others.
