• The Buffalo Philharmonic has commissioned City of Light, a large-scale work for full orchestra to open their 90th season in September 2024 in honor of JoAnn Falletta and the BPO. See Buffalo News, and here.

  • I Hear America Singing, a combination documentary and operafilm, is filming in Pittsburgh; Daron directs both the staged production and the film; Talal Jabari, the DOP for the operafilm 9/10: Love Before the Fall, is the DOP; Tevi Eber is assistant director. The production / film stars Robert Frankenberry, Desirée Soteres, and Christopher Scott. It will be released to film festivals in September 2025. More information here.

  • Naxos released The Art of Song (featuring Lyric Fest) in January and will release Heike Quinto (featuring Duo YUMENO) on 24 May worldwide.

  • 9/10: Love Before the Fall continues to garner laurels at film festivals internationally—both online monthly ones, and bricks-and-mortar screenings at the larger festivals.   • Ensemble INTERWOVEN will premiere the chamber ensemble version of the forthcoming double concerto for Koto and Cello (a consortium-in-formation) called Aviary  during the 25-26 season. Learn more about the project here.
