Program Note:

A brief call-and-response antiphon for violin and trumpet in C for use either in the concert hall or in a worship setting as an introit, meditation, or prelude. In performance, the violinist performs alone either on stage or in the apse, with the trumpet player unseen in either the balcony or the choir loft. Two Larks was composed for Madison violinist Lisa Chosy in 1980.
