Lyrics

Lend an ear. / Have no fear. / Listen.

I HEAR AMERICA SINGING / the varied carols, I hear. / So loud and strong, so blithe and long, / Behold our songs are genuine and true.

I HEAR AMERICA SINGING / beneath her clear skies of blue. / Each voice I hear rings loud and clear, / Proclaiming freedom's call for me and you.

I hear America's anthems, / our musics, new songs and old. / I sing to bring light into the darkest night. /Behold the sight of people who are free.
